Well, I am completely mystified. I find Becta’s resistance to MS Vista to be vaguely reassuring and relating to Brussels rather than Washington.

I was aware of the BECTA reports, but I’ve just been doing a little calculation….Now let’s look at the BECTA OSS report….The BECTA Vista and Office report says that upgrading Vista (there were no numbers for Office)…Therefore, using the number from BECTA studies, we’d save £680m (or be able to invest that much more in our schools) _every_ year….
